AERIE is a company founded in 2011 by DI (FH) Johannes Reiter. It markets a new concept that combines both evolutionary resulting optimum flight configurations from the past, that are; 1) propelled sailing for fixed wing flight, and 2) rotor flight for hover. Combining those most efficient flight configurations using the same airfoil, AERIE with its products S-25 (25 kg), D-150 (150 kg) and K-200 (200kg) is capable to provide total flight endurances of 24 hours and beyond.

Right now AERIE is testing its S-25 prototype and in the design phase for the D-150. Civil Aviation knowledge in the sense of certification is an advantage that the AERIE Team can grab on. It holds connection to partners in the airborne sensing sector, therewith providing high end knowledge to the customer as well.

AERIE, as the name says, a nest for homing birds from their birth through their whole life cycle, is the home of innovative aerial vehicles.
